Having the vet really wash out his ears did work. He was clear of ear infections for a week. At $200+ a deep ear washing this wasn't cutting it. After a week of no infections we were back to the stinky, phewwwiee, yeasty, peeling/flaking inside ear skin infections in one or both of his ears. He would scratch at his ears with his paws and sometimes the inside of his ears would bleed.

I went through the Standard vet sponsored "Talk" about, allergies to grass, to food, maybe even you! After listening to this speech from 2 vets at the same animal clinic, it left me feeling like it was hopeless. I was never going to find and cure the root of my pups plague. "The Icky smelly ear infection syndrome". The infected ears would cause his eyes to gunk up as well. Eye bugger city. Really gross because it just came on coming. Clean up his sweet little face at the start of the day. Continue doing this 5-7 times a day until bed time. Start all over again the next day.

I was becoming more and more alarmed that all this infection may harm my pups hearing long term. I was spending at least a hour on his ear cleaning a day. Get my hopes up that it would clear up and be gone. Only to have the cycle start again.

I tried 4 different ear washes. I went through 3 treatments from my vet. I even tried going holistic with vinegar and olive oil.

Then I got determined. Got on the net and started researching.

I was so relieved when this product came to my door step.
I read the directions. I applied it to my pup's very tender and stinky, soupy ears. By the next day his beautiful long black furry ears were about 90% infection free! Couple more days making it 3 days total. 100% ear infection free. I had to pinch myself. I was =SO= glad the ear infection nightmare was over!

Now when I give him a bath I always put a good squeeze of Zymox OTIC Enzymatic Solution in both ears and massage it in deep into his ears.
The skin on the inside of his ears is grey with a bit of healthy pink.
His ear fur is silky and shines. It's free from yeast, peeling skin, soupy brown discharges and best of all....NO more stinky ears!

I even works on mothball smells. It has just a hint of smell at first (called a tracer scent) so that you can tell where you've spread it, but then when it dries, all smells are gone including the tracer. I have trouble with a lot of other odor removers that they give me a migraine. Febreeze will like to kill me. But I've never had a problem with this one. I will never buy anything else.

I grabbed it up and all the refills they had.Well no product could be further from the original than this.Not only are the replacements ill fitting, the mechanism is awkward, cumbersome and require the strength of Mr. Clean himself to squeeze the water out of it.Worst of all is that the eraser part is not the same material as the original hand held ones in the box.It is just a piece of foam.I called customer service and the person who answered was totally blasé.It appears that the people who make the originals do not make these mop "erasers."Someone wanted to make a quick buck.Do not give them yours.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this vacuum cleaner a few weeks ago to replace an Eureka upright I had been using for 3 years. For me, the Eureka was nothing short of aggravating to use most of the time. I have been very happy with my new purchase!
Out of the box, the machine was easily assembled. Assembly required a phillips head screwdriver and 3 screws to secure the handle to the body. The hose and cord wrap attachments snapped into place. In action, I noted that the machine is easy to maneuver over my carpeted floors, and the variable adjustment knob used to adjust the brush height was easy to use and made pushing the machine around easier. I also noticed that the noise level was below the Eureka, also a 12 amp machine.
I was surprised at the debri the machine pulled up out of the carpet.Watching the detritus circulate in the bin with the cyclonic action was satisfying to watch as I moved the vacuum over my floors. Unlike most uprights I have had, the attachments on the Bissell are effective and easy to use. I was able to clean a flight of 12 stair steps using the turbo brush without having to wrangle the machine up the steps. When using attachments on past uprights, it always seemed that the hose would retract when the attachments were in use, tugging at the machine and tipping it or requiring me to wrestle with it while trying to complete my task. I also enjoyed the ease of using the brushes for dusting my lampshades and furniture. The turbo brush picks up my Pug's hair from the upholstered furniture without any problems. I was also able to vacuum behind my washer and dryer using the wand extension-something I haven't been able to do easily before now.
The collection cup empties easily using a spring-loaded lid located at the bottom of the collection canister. I find that I do not need to touch or dig out the debri as I did with other machines. I like not having to manually deal with the stuff! The canister also separates so that the cyclone device can be knocked free of debri or even cleaned with soap and water-something that Bissell recommends doing depending on how the machine is used. This will help keep the cyclonic chambers working efficiently. Just make sure the device is very dry before using the machine again! I anticipate doing this on a monthly basis, given that my home is occupied by myself, my spouse and a Pug! Right now, though, when I just tap the tube on a hard surface, I find that the junk in there easily falls out into the disposal bag, clearing it for the next use.
Overall, I am happy with the maneuverability, suction, ease of use and maintenance of this machine. This past week, I used it with my new Bissell Pro-Heat 2x 9500 to deep clean my carpets, and the duo did an excellent job without the usual obstinacy I have experienced with past machines.

(More customer reviews)Normally I really don't care for cleaning wipes or scented anything.I used unscented almost everything.These scrubbing pads are not only durable and full of soap, they smell very nice as well.They do not have an overwhelming scent of perfume, but a nice clean scent that I feel good about when I am done cleaning with.There is enough soap in these scrubbers that my sister told me she can do both of her bathrooms with one scrubber with one pad.I only have one bathroom so I have to take her word for it.She is cheap when it comes to things like that so if she is impressed it has to be great.We'll put that up as a two thumbs way up for these.

(More customer reviews)I put a canister of DampRid in one of the rooms in my house and slowly, but surely, it collected moisture and some mold & mildrew from the air. After seeing that the DampRid worked, I went out and bought 2 refills & 4 more 10.5 oz Damprid containers to put all around the house. When I refilled the canister with the refill crytals, the DampRid QUICKLY collected pink, brown, and black mildew/mold (different color molds depending on the location of the DampRid)... It worked so well and so quickly that it was frightning (mostly because I could see what I had been breathing in and it was quite gross). **I guess the different shape of the refill crystals (which are more like pebbles/pellets) increases the surface area, making it much more efficient than the flat crystals this DampRid container comes with.

I live in Florida where it is very humid and I suppose that could contribute to the DampRid working so quickly, but it works and that is all that matters (the product does what it claims to do).

*Side Note: over time, molds/mildew & icicle-type formations form on the inside of the container. The hard formations are almost impossible to remove and take up much of the space where the liquid collected from the air is supposed to go. So, when you see these formations & have little room for liquid in the canister, it is time to splurge on new DampRid containers.

I would recommend this product to people looking for a simple & cheap way to clean the air in their houses quietly & effectively. Though I recommend the refills much more than this DampRid formula, you need the container that this formula comes with to put the refills in... and this formula DOES work--so I rated this 5 stars so that the effectiveness of the product be known.

(More customer reviews)...though I haven't had many vacuums. This vacuum, as far as I can tell, has excellent suction that picks up all my pet hair (I have two long-haired Maine Coons) and the pet-paw attachment is fantastic for furniture, pillows, the cat tree, etc.

The "self cleaning" duster attachment, however, sucks; it's easier to clean the duster with the hose than with the special chamber they built for it. Also, the lever they installed to direct the suction to the duster-chamber broke off recently and I can't even superglue it back on because of the kind of plastic it's made of.

For the price I paid ($130 at Walmart), great vacuum though I suspect it won't last many years like a more quality one might.

So how does the Dynamite Plus stack up?It sucks!Very, very well.I don't think I have ever used a vaccum that had such powerful suction. I bought a Dirt Devil cordless unit (the one that no one seems to like) about a year ago and it was garbage. I wondered if anyone really needed cordless while in the confines of their own home. Most likely not. Why not trade the dubious benefits of cordless for maximum sucking power? For the price there is proably no vacuum made that is more powerful. So why only 4 stars? Despite a vacuum that seems well built, convenient, light, bagless, portable, etc., there is one thing that is insanely ridiculous about the Dynamite Plus' design. All of that powerful suckiing power shoots right out a front grill of the vacuum.Like a tornado!!!!The first time I used it was in the kitchen it it literally blew all of the photos and notes off my refrigerator. The next time bordered on slapstick comedy if I could have considered it funny. I was vacuuming the hearth of my fireplace and the tornado-like exhaust fan blew ashes from the fireplace all over my living room!!!Who in their right mind would design a vacuum with a jet engine strong exhaust fan right in front pointing at the very dust and dirt you are going to vacuum?Final thought ... the plastic recepticle fills up very fast. I vacuumed what I thought was a clean tile floor in the kitchen and the dirt container was full. I emptied it and vacuumed my staircase and the dirt bag was full.Is this a bad thing?How can it be? The Dynamite Plus is sucking in dirt that I didn't even know existed. That's the whole reason I vacuum. So I would rate this as the best bargain of any vacuum I have ever seen except for that silly design flaw. It's not at all a reason to not purchase this vacuum. You just have to know how to avoid pointing it at things like fireplace ashes. Bottom line is I have never owned a vacuum with as much suction. This thing is dirt cheap for what it does.

(More customer reviews)I originally purchased the highest rated vacuum cleaner currently on the market: Hoover UH30010com however I ended up returning it. The UH30010 is an excellent vacuum however it lacks a roller brush switch. My house consists of 50% hardwood / 50% carpet. I purchased the UH70210 instead because of the features: no loss of suction, cord rewind (hard to find feature on uprights), brush roller switch, folding handle, its lightweight, easy to empty canister and lifetime filter. I used this vacuum on the same day that I vacuumed with the UH30010. I was not expecting it to pick up anything. I was shocked to see the container get full. The suction is excellent and picks up anything it encounters. As for the bad stuff: the cord tends to get stuck at times when being extracted. You sometimes have to pull hard on the cord to break it lose. The light could be brighter. The dirt container is on the small side and fills up quick. The emission odor it puts out is not clean. It puts out a weird plastic smell. I was fortunate enough to get it on sale being priced below one hundred at my local membership club store. For the price, features and performance, it is a great buy.

I've used this roller for all sorts of projects, including carpets and dusting various areas like couches, etc. I even ran it over the cat, but she was not impressed.

The handle is quite comfortable and when you are rolling it over the carpet or a bedspread, this is important. The cat was impressed with this process and had a good time trying to bat at the roller as it flew past.

The sheets are easy to remove and there are 60 layers. This just seems to last and last and you can replace the roller very easily. Each sheet has a "tip" like: "Evercare Lint Pic-Up puts the plush back in velvet and makes it look like new again."

Can I say it does that for carpets too. Other uses:

Picks of coffee grounds
Is like a mini-vacuum for little cleanup jobs

An essential of life if you have cats!

(More customer reviews)My mom turned me on to LesToil decades ago for taking out stains in clothing. It's the best and can be used even after they have been through the dryer once. I have never seen a laundry stain remover work as well. Just dab it on the stain, rub it in a while, wait thirty seconds, and throw it in the normal laundry. And I have never yet seen it ruin colors. Sometimes it takes a couple of washings, but it's the best.
One caution. It eventually eats through the plastic bottle it comes in, so pour it in a glass bottle for long-term storage.

Promax rep David, on speaker phone, ask me what price I had bought the same item from from Target, would he be able to go online and verify the price, that he would not refund my shipping, he actually said I knew how much I was paying for the item when I hit "send" on my order, and there was no way they would refund my shipping--I should know that I had to pay shipping when I buy something.Needless to say, I am now extremely unhappy with this whole Promax experience.When they wanted me to take down my review they were absolutely wonderful; after I took down my review I was the idiot.I told them not to worry about any type of refund, to expect my negative review back online.

I would hope anyone out there would run as fast as they could from this company.In this day and age customer service is a must for any business.This company is AWFUL.As I stated before -- I will continue to buy from Amazon, but if what I need is only available from Promax--I will do without.

Then someone took a green pad or other abrasive to my K.A.cooktop that made terrible scratches. So I ordered the Scratch-B-Gone to try to get the scratches out of the cooktop. I figured that I couldn't mess it up much more than it was and it was in a lot less visible location than the refrigerator scratches. After viewing the "how to" video I worked on the cooktop. The results were incredible. The S-B-G product did exactly like what was illustrated in the video. The grey pad exactly matched the original scratch finish put on by KitchenAid. With that success and a little trepidation I started on the refrigerator scratches using only the grey pad and lubricant. The area I did took out all the scratches and blended in great with the original finish. Just remember to always go in the direction of the original grain, pick up the pad when moving to another location. All you're really trying to do is replace the original scratch grain as close as possible and this product does that.

(More customer reviews)I purchased the kit with the Freshmatic Ultra and 3 refill cans, but I wanted to say what a pleasant smell this has.It's light and not overpowering at all, just a really pleasant freshness.

This is a perfect automatic freshener for the bathroom. I've tried other kinds of fresheners, and this is the best solution I've found. You can have it set to spray at 9, 18 or 36 minute intervals. I have it set at 36 minutes and it keeps the bathroom smelling clean constantly, even with it being set at the longest interval between sprays.

When you walk into the bathroom, you can notice the "Fresh Waters" smell instantly, but as I said, not it's not overpowering.You can also push the button for an extra spray if desired.

I haven't tried it in a larger room, so just one might not be enough, but for a smaller room like the bathroom, one is just perfect.

I'm going to try the "Spring Blossoms" scent next, and I'm going to buy another Freshmatic for our extra bathroom, where the kitty litter box is.

I'm really glad I finally found something where you can actually smell the fragrance when you walk in. With the different time settings you can customize it to the amount of freshness that you'd like.

My favorite part though, is that I know that the bathroom will always smell fresh if an unexpected visitor comes by.

My immune system is compromised due to chemotherapy and diabetes, so I like to sterilize hotel room bathrooms and other areas that other people might have used (phones, pens, etc). This device uses Ultra Violet light to kill the nasty things, so no harsh chemicals are needed.

The unit performed flawlessly after inserting 4 "AA" batteries. This device can be used on flat surfaces like counters and even on walls (held at a slight angle). The unit does have a safety feature that prevents it (or at least makes it difficult) to accidentally shine the harmful UV light into your eyes. The light will shut off if it is rotated upwards but it is still possible to shine it at others, so caution should be used around children and pets.

The light is not as bright as I expected, but it looks like it is "enough".

(More customer reviews)I bought my first of these more than a year ago after installing a glass walled shower that initially seemed to require cleaning every couple days.I find that, with the automatic cleaner installed, I only have to manually clean the glass every few weeks.I'm pleased enough with the results that when my original cleaner died, I replaced it with a new one.Note that this product does have limitations.It won't clean an already dirty shower (clean thoroughly by hand before you install it), it does go through refills fairly quickly (about every 2 weeks), and the cleaning unit itself won't last forever (my first one lasted about a year).All that said, if you're as lazy about shower maintenance as I am, you may find this a welcome convenience.

The only drawback is that product itself doesn't have a particularly good, fresh smell - it's kind of like the blue stuff in port-a-potties.But you really don't smell it that often, and it isn't too strong.It's just a "trace smell."

(More customer reviews)My wife and I let the shower go too long without a cleaning.All subsequent cleanings never got the job done.I used a veritable cocktail of chemicals on the tub trying to get it clean.I even got into the heavy industrial chemicals used in fiberglass production.Even THAT didn't help.I am not exagerating when I say I was prepared to replace the tub and shower unit.Er...I should mention that we are not slobs or anything...But there was some sort of film build-up - presumably soap.We are on drilled well.The water doesn't seem to be either too hard or soft.In any event, this product did the job without any elbow grease !I sprayed it on, let it sit for a minute or two, and wiped it off with a scouring type sponge.I knew there had to be something out there that would react just right with stuff on my tub.This was it.I see some folks are critical of the price.If I knew before hand that this was going to work, I would have paid three times as much.

(More customer reviews)What I really love about these Glad Quick-Tie Tall Kitchen Bags is that the 4 flaps make quick work of tying up and disposing of these bags -- I really don't care for twist ties - or draw strings for that matter. Draw strings may be seemingly convenient, but the trouble is, they sometimes rip through the plastic sleeve, especially when you tug on them to heave a heavy bag out of a trash can.

The flaps on the Glad Quick-Tie bags, on the other hand, hold up much better to heavy weights. Just tie the 2 opposing flaps to form two intersecting "handles". These two handles together will hold up to a lot of tugging and heaving. The bags themselves are very strong and will hold a lot of weight (These bags boast a "3-ply strength").

It came off quickly (and I've tried other products on it which did not work) and with little effort on my part. It smells good, though not as good as their general cleaner. It's always fun to find a natural cleaner from an admirable company which works better than conventional, poisonous cleaners. bravo!
